Özge Bilgili is associate professor of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences at Utrecht University and is affiliated with the European Research Centre on Migration and Ethnic Relations. Her expertise is in immigration integration, transnationalism and policy analysis within these fields.
In collaboration with Najuan Daadleh-Terpstra, founder of Parenting across Borders, Özge Bilgili organized the public engagement project Mothering Across Borders, Dialogue Series at Utrecht University, with funding from the university. She also led the project Sleepless in Academia: Responding to New Academic Parents’ Challenges, funded by the Utrecht Young Academy.
As one of the first board members of the Parenting across Borders Foundation, she is committed to supporting its activities. She contributes with evidence-based knowledge and fosters connections with the academic community from an inter- and transdisciplinary perspective.
