Nada Shanak

Project Coordinator

Nada first came in contact with Parenting across Borders when she participated in the facilitator training – drawn not only by her curiosity about dialogue work, but also by a sense that this kind of space is desperately needed for parents living far from home. As the mother of two children she is raising in a new country, Nada knows what it means to balance between cultures, expectations and identities. She recognized how powerful it can be when immigrant parents come together, share experiences and feel understood.

With more than 20 years of experience as a consultant and project manager, Nada felt strongly inspired by PAB’s mission and inclusive, community-oriented approach. The combination of dialogue and meaningful connection appealed to her both personally and professionally, making the role of project coordinator a logical next step.

Nada’s goal is to support PAB’s sustainable growth while staying true to the organization’s core values. She hopes to further strengthen the team and community so that PAB can continue to create warm, safe and culturally sensitive spaces for immigrant parents in the years to come.
