Elizabeth Groom is a specialist in intercultural communication and academic communities. She held management and administrative positions at universities in the United States and the Netherlands. In 2024, she earned a master’s degree in Intercultural Communication from Utrecht University, where she researched international mothers’ experiences with postnatal care. She is trained in intercultural competencies, community engagement, coaching and various methods of dialogue facilitation.
Beth brings to PaB her knowledge of international academic communities, the role of culture in interactions and international maternal experiences. A former PaB board member, she is now active as a dialogue facilitator and project coordinator.
