Balint Horvath

Dialogue facilitator

Balint first joined the Parenting across Borders community as a participant in the dialogue series. He later attended the training and returned as a volunteer facilitator. He now combines his personal experiences within the groups with his journey as an international father to support other fathers navigating parenthood in a new country.

Originally from Hungary and now living in the Netherlands for 15 years, Balint sees himself as a bridge between the experiences of international fathers and Dutch society. He sees fatherhood as a strong motivation to deepen his integration while strengthening his cultural identity.

Balint is a father of one daughter. Previously, he volunteered in outdoor-focused personal development programs for children and youth. In his spare time, he enjoys tour biking with his daughter, which he considers his favorite and most meaningful form of parenting.
