She currently plays a central role as a dialogue group facilitator. Mariana&#8217;s journey with PaB began as a participant in the first dialogue group, even before PaB formally existed. Here she found the support and understanding that was missing in her experience of parenting in a foreign country. &#8220;Being part of Parenting across Borders helps me give back some of what I have gained through this amazing work and keeps me connected to things that are of great importance to me &#8211; such as how to navigate motherhood away from your support network, challenges and opportunities of raising a child in a multi-cultural family, among others.
