Özge Bilgili is Associate Professor of Interdisciplinary Social Sciences at Utrecht University, where she is also part of the European Research Centre on Migration and Ethnic Relations. Her expertise is in immigrant integration, transnationalism and policy analysis in related fields.
In collaboration with the founder of Parenting across Borders, Najuan Daadleh-Terpstra, Özge Bilgili has organized the public engagement project Mothering Across Borders, Dialogue Series in Utrecht University (funded by Utrecht University) and led the Sleepless in Academia: Responding to New Academic Parents’ Challenges Projects (funded by Utrecht Young Academy).
As one of the founding board members of Parenting across Borders Foundation (PaB), she aims to support PaB’s activities by bringing in evidence based, scientific knowledge and connecting with academic community through an inter- and trans-disciplinary perspective.
