Mariana has been an active member of Parenting across Borders (PaB) from the very beginning and has used her expertise in several areas, including project management, planning and strategy. She currently plays a central role as a dialogue group facilitator. Mariana’s journey with PaB began as a participant in the first dialogue group, even before PaB formally existed. Here she found the support and understanding that was missing in her experience of parenting in a foreign country. “Being part of Parenting across Borders helps me give back some of what I have gained through this amazing work and keeps me connected to things that are of great importance to me – such as how to navigate motherhood away from your support network, challenges and opportunities of raising a child in a multi-cultural family, among others. I also enjoy working with the dedicated and inspiring women who form the PaB team.”
